Greenboro Community Center

Snuggled in the heart of the Greenboro/South-Keys district, the Greenboro Community Centre opens its doors to welcome all. We offer a wide variety of recreation programs for all ages, stages and interests. There is a state of the art fitness studio, cardio and weight room, group cycling studio, dance and yoga studio, a full sized gymnasium ideal for sports and a variety of multi-purpose rooms. Consider renting our spaces for birthday parties, meetings, sports leagues, and much more. You will also find the Greenboro District Library located within the facility. Outside, just across Lorry Greenberg Drive, there are public tennis courts and walking trails and out back is a large park with more walking trails, sports fields, an amazing play structure, and a wading pool. Greenboro Community Centre; it's a great place to be.

Greenboro Thursday Social Drop-in

Research shows that compared with their peers, seniors who participate in recreation programs have higher levels of health, social interaction, and life satisfaction.
The Greenboro Thursday drop-in program offers a wide variety of activities from shuffleboard, ping pong, cards and board games to arts and crafts and beyond. We have developed this program to serve the community as a place for “older adults “to socialize and come together within the community while learning and having fun.
The third Thursday of every month we have a luncheon as well as a guest speaker. Our guest speakers are well informed professionals who speak on important topics that pertain to the aging community.
We are always looking for ways to improve our program, so we welcome any feedback or comments.
